UUWF Meets February 27 for Virtual Book Review

Members and friends of the UU Women's Federation typically meet early in the year for an book exchange. Because we are meeting via Zoom through February, this will be our second annual book review. Each participant is asked to review a recent book they have read and why they recommend reading it. The meeting will begin at 12:00 noon on Sunday, February 27th at the same Zoom link as the worship service. UUWF is pushing its meeting back a week to enable those who wish to attend the Family Promise orientation being held on the third Sunday of the month.

Check out the Southwest UU Women’s Conference to be held in Grapevine, Texas, March 4-6: www.swuuw.org. Registration is still open. Contact Katie (kwomack@tamu.edu) if you’d like to carpool, or need more information.

Closer to home - there is room for you at the annual UUWF Camp Allen retreat in a beautiful and relaxing setting just outside of Navasota. This year’s retreat is April 8-10. Newcomers are especially welcome. Come discover this enriching time together.

Contact Kathy Wheeler (khmwdvm@aol.com) for more information or to reserve a spot.
