Thank you to all who volunteered to help with our Host Week at Family Promise, Bryan. Even though many of our usual volunteers are away on vacation this wee, we have a shopper for supplies, all five dinners covered, and most of the overnight hosting spots full! Family Promise is an area-wide, volunteer-based, non-profit organization that supports families by providing shelter, meals and support services to homeless families. We provide a safe environment in which families can stay together and become self-sufficient. The program is affiliated with the nationwide Family Promise in Summit, New Jersey.
