In preparation for the program portion of the monthly UUWF meeting, we advise a little advance work. All are welcome to attend – you do not have to be a UUWF member! All you need is an interest in social and racial justice issues and a willingness to read in advance!.
Read and think about White Fragility -Why It’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism by Robin Diangelo
Recall and job down your own first interactions with people of color to share in 3 minutes. We’ve grown up in different places, so are interactions are likely varied.
Read criticism by linguist John McWhorter who has written extensively for Atlantic Magazine – several options are recommended:

”The Dehumanizing Condescension of White Fragilty” is particularly recommended
