Quite miraculously, most of you received your “snail mailing” of the invitation to make a financial commitment for the building fund for our new church. This was a minor miracle, considering the weather conditions that developed in mid-February. However, some of you DID NOT receive your invitation due to a glitch at the post office – so keep monitoring your mail.
We thank you if you have returned your Financial Commitment Form already. If you can, please return it by February 28th or as soon as you can. As of February 22nd, the campaign assets (committed and/or received from members and friends) stand at $95,460. We will continue to post updates to the church website as they are received. You will find a prominent tab on the homepage of the church website that will lead you to the most current information about the capital campaign and progress being made with the building and site plans. Links to the capital campaign materials and financial commitment form are included.
The Building Fund Capital Campaign Fund team had to cancel its weekly meeting due to the disruptive consequences of the winter weather and extensive power outages. We hope that all power and water will have been restored to your home by the time this newsletter reaches you. We will continue to provide updates over the coming weeks and months.
Thank you for your commitment to Our New Church!
