The UUWF will be hosting the third session of the UUA Reproductive Justice curriculum on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 12 noon in the multipurpose room. Session 3 is entitled "Inherent Worth and Dignity." We'll be exploring our own reproductive stories and examining reproductive oppression. Please bring your homework from Session 2, something to write on and with, and something to share for our potluck.
Everyone is invited even if you were unable to attend previous sessions. We are using the UUA Reproductive Justice curriculum to educate and prepare ourselves for becoming a Reproductive Justice Congregation. We encourage participation in the program by all UUCBV members.
UUWF members gathered on October 20th for a good exchange of tips and information on Green Living. The Saturday evening prior, members Harriet, Eleanor, Katie, and UUWF friend and Camp Allen regular, Jane Vardiman, enjoyed a trip to Lake Shore Baptist Church in Waco for the Carrie Newcomer concert. Upcoming events include the Southwest UU Women’s Conference February 28-March 1 in Lafayette, La., and the Camp Allen retreat March 2019. For more information on getting involved in UUWF, or to be added to the UUWF email list, please contact Nancy, our Church Communications Director at admin@brazos-uu.org. We welcome visitors, newcomers, and re-joiners.
