Are you wanting to enter leadership but feel like you need help or mentoring?
Do you have experience as a leader that you are willing to share with others?
As a facilitator, do you wish you had a safe space to share your challenges and obtain wisdom from others?
Are you looking for connections to other UUs outside of your own congregation?
Are you wondering how you can develop into or grow as a facilitator of small groups?
Would you like to connect with other UU leaders (current or prospective leaders) outside of your congregation?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then join us in a sharing circle for present and prospective leaders and facilitators of UU programs, board, committees, discussion groups, and small group ministry. Join us on six (6) consecutive Thursdays, 6:30 to 7:30, beginning January 14 – February 18; attendance required at first meeting. Co-Leads: Pam Perry from the First UU Church of Houston and Gaye Webb from the UU Church of the Brazos Valley in Bryan/College Station Using the model of small group ministry, we invite a maximum of ten (10) participants, hopefully 4-5 from each congregation, to join in lively and meaningful discussions about our leadership learning experience – our success and challenges. Pam Perry has over 30 years of experience leading UU groups and programs for adults and Brenda Gaye Webb has many years of experience with small group ministry and a wide variety of congregational issues, and is presently President of the Board of the UU Church of the Brazos Valley. Registration is required. Email Pam at pam4hou@gmail.com and Gaye at bgwebb08@gmail.com.
