Did you know that Charmin, Scott, Angel Soft and Quilted Northern toilet paper received an F grade on sustainability from the National Resources Defense Council (NRDC). They do not contain any recycled content in their toilet paper. Their paper comes from clear-cutting the Canadian boreal forest, aka the “Amazon of the North.” Consider using toilet paper containing recycled paper, like Seventh Generation Bathroom Tissue. It is made from 100% recycled paper (minimum 50% post-consumer recycled fiber) and is whitened without chlorine bleach.
