Updated: Apr 8, 2020

UUCBV Host Week for Family Promise - Sunday, December 15th - Saturday, December 21st.

It's time again to sign up for the UUCBV Family Promise Host Week, December 15th - December 21st.

Every quarter, the UUCBV acts as Host Church for Family Promise and we need your help. Family Promise of BC/S is a transitory shelter for homeless children and their families.

Sign up to be the Shopper, to prepare a Warm Dinner, be the Dinner Host and/or Overnight Host by going to: https://docs.google.com/document/d/13L2rDWdsXfd1YFUgsjE8OZPIHhvnH_QXKPR9mzvEwlU/edit

2. Warm Dinners - prepare a warm dinner one night of the week, Sunday-Thursday, December 15 - 19th. Families eat on their own on Friday and Saturday.

3. Dinner Host - assists in serving dinner & mingles with clients from 5:30 - 7 pm, Sunday - Thursday. Often times the person preparing the dinner stays as the dinner host, but this is not required.

4. Overnight Host - sleeps overnight in volunteer room from 8:30 pm to 7 am. We
